About
Creating bonds, passing on what matters.
You might think that launching this project was a radical change. It is quite the opposite — it is the logical continuation of everything that came before.
Nothing matters more to me than creating bonds. Bringing people together, enabling the transmission of ideas, of knowledge, of stories. It is, I believe, the common thread of my whole professional life.
I spent much of my career in luxury, in the field of corporate social responsibility, in the United States and then in the United Kingdom. Passionate about the role the private sector can play in building a more human society, I always carried this conviction in the background: our life stories are the point through which our shared humanity reveals itself.
At the same time, podcasts and radio have accompanied me daily since my early years in New York. I am fascinated by the power of the voice — the intimacy it allows, the room it leaves for imagination. How the voice touches us.
We live in a time that moves fast, that fragments, that isolates. A time when technology promises connection and so often produces solitude. In this context, I deeply believe in the healing value of stories — the small stories within the larger one, those passed on within a family, between generations, that remind us we belong to something greater than ourselves. Creating the conditions for active listening, a space where someone feels truly heard — that is an act of care. That is what Transmission tries to be.
The loss of my mother, shortly before the birth of my first child, awakened me to the urgency of transmission — and to the taboo of death that we so strongly wish to keep out of our words.
It is by nurturing meaningful relationships with our loved ones that we stand at the heart of life. It has become my reason for doing this.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to pass on their story.
Yet illness, grief, isolation or social inequality deprive many people of this possibility.
Through the projects we support today, we also wish to help make these journeys accessible to more families and to support public-interest initiatives around storytelling, memory and transmission.
It is an ambition that has guided the development of Transmission from the very beginning.
Collaborations
Transmission works with an ecosystem of sound professionals brought together according to each project: directors, writers, documentary makers, sound engineers.
People trained in the demands of creative audio, recognised in their field, who share the same conviction about the value of the oral story.
Every project receives the attention and care that this work deserves.
Transmission also has psychological supervision in place for projects that call for a particular framework.
Today, we are exploring different models of support so that more families can benefit from these transmission projects, whatever their means or their situation in life.
